Waverly Curtains : A Good Choice
Waverly curtains are a great choice because with them you know you will be buying good quality and great design – the main things which count when it comes to choosing window curtains.
The Waverly registered trade mark is owned by Iconix Brand Group, which is also the owner of many other household names for quality products you know and love. Waverly is a quality brand in the world of home fashion and lifestyle products and one of the most recognized brands in home furnishing. Waverly designs are used in a myriad of modern and classic styles for all types of home furnishing products including fabrics, wall coverings, paint, bedding, window treatments and accessories.
The Iconix brand website tells us about the typical Waverly customer. If you are an upscale, sophisticated homeowner who is passionate about decorating and you like to spend a large percentage of your free time at home either cooking, entertaining, gardening or relaxing then this brand is made for you, it seems. The current Waverly curtain ads reflect the young and fun aspects of the brand, with taxis, mail boxes and homes being covered in Waverly designs. You can download a brand book full of ideas here.
It does not matter what colors you are looking for you will find a Waverly curtain fabric or ready made curtains which will be just right for you. It is deciding between all of them that will be the problem. There are some beautiful Waverly toile curtains. There are plaids and stripes and others in bright paisley designs. You will want them all.
One of the easiest ways to decorate a room is to start with a curtain fabric you love. You could look at a site or spend some time in a store which has more Waverly drapes, fabrics and designs than you can shake a stick at. Pick out your favorite design and then use the colors from it for accessories for your room as well as having curtains and other accessories made up in your chosen Waverly fabric. You know your color scheme will work because you can see it all made up on your curtain fabric.

I am trying to find a place where I can buy Waverly curtains. All of the online sites do not have what I want. Are there any stores I can call to get further information.
Thank you,
Elizabeth
Hi Elizabeth
try the Waverly website http://www.waverly.com/where_to_buy.php?cat=window which lists 4 stores which may be able to help you.

Thanx for the reply, but I have tried all these places. I assume the only thing to do is buy the fabric and have them made.
Hi Elizabeth
I’m sorry that didn’t help. If you can find the fabric you are looking for by the yard, that is certainly a good way to go. Try and get recommendations for local dressmakers or curtain makers from someone you trust. If the finished curtains are poorly made, or the seams are not straight, the best curtain fabric in the world won’t look good. Perhaps the store where you buy the fabric can help. Also get advice on how much Waverly fabric to buy from the store or from the curtain maker you choose as it can vary quite a lot depending on the how the seam allowances, gathers etc are calculated.
